The Giclee Canvas Print

Giclee (pronounced Zhee-Clay) is a French term for "fine spray". We have found it to be a wonderful printing process. A Giclee print is created with a digital printer using tiny ink jets. These jets spray millions of droplets of water-based ink onto fine archival art paper or canvas. The ink technology,produced in 2001, has been a major breakthrough in this art process. It has provided artist Jack Paluh, with an exceptionally wide color gamut to use which matches his color palette. This enables us to reproduce the true colors that Jack brings to life on his original paintings.

The inks are water resistant and quick drying. These inks have been tested for a 200-year light fastness in fade resistance. This gives our collectors the advantage to display our artwork under any light conditions including bright sun. After printing, the canvases are coated with a clear protective sealant.

The effect of uniting Jack's Fine Art with modern technology in this Giclee process creates a three-dimensional print that most resembles Jack's original painting at an affordable print price.

Giclees are printed one at a time as a limited, signed and numbered edition. This process gives us the opportunity to print at the actual size of the original painting. It also gives us the advantage to print in different sizes to meet your available wall space. We can now meet your personal needs from small prints to murals.

The Giclee canvas prints are framed without glass eliminating glare. We are offeringa new line of frames to compliment any decor. These new frames can be viewed in our frame shop.
