Whitetail
Ambush 1995 Release |
|
Whitetail Ambush portrays an 18th Century Deer Drive as hunters pushed the deer into natural funnels and bottlenecks by pounding bones and shakers to move the game. A small group of shooters, stationed along runways, kept a viligant watch for the whitetails to come into range. It was the Native American belief that harvesting a white doe foretold of ill fortune and bad medicine. If a hunter crossed paths with one he would thank The Creator and let it go in peace, as did the hunting party in Whitetail Ambush. |
