Jack favors the simple beauty of the native wood duck. What better place to see wood ducks than at Siegel Marsh—a local Pennsylvania Game Commission managed marsh.  It was springtime and Jack set out decoys in order to capture on video the movements and flight patterns of wood ducks about to land in the water. Viewing the video in his art studio, Jack is able to capture the duck’s flight in motion on a canvas using oil paints.
