Commissioned by the PA Ducks Unlimited chapter, Paluh was asked to do a painting of Labrador puppies.  To find lab pups to use in his painting, Jack visited a local breeder where he found Chocolate, Black and Yellow Labrador pups.  In order to get their attention to his decoy, hat, and magazine props, Jack thought it best to put a little bit of moist dog food on each. It wasn’t long before the pups were very interested in the props.  The pups formed a triangle like image for Paluh to photograph for reference and then take back to his art studio to paint.
