There is something joyful in seeing the first snow of the season. After the flurries stop falling and there is a fresh, untouched blanket of white across the landscape. Jack Paluh wanted to depict this scene in his nature art painting "First Snow." Here he captured on canvas the essence and silence of a freshly fallen snow in Pennsylvanian farmlands.
