Jack Paluh's Native American painting "The Provider" set in winter’s stillness, captures an experienced Native Archer silently waiting to release his arrow.  Motivated by survival, Native Hunters deeply respected and honored the spirit of the deer.  They gave thanks to the Creator and to the animal after the harvest for providing them with food.
