Jack Paluh salutes our armed forces with his Heritage Military Series.  His art unites our freedom to harvest the land with our service men and women who courageously protect and defend our privileges.  Each piece represents a particular era:  Gifts of Freedom – WWII, A Brother’s Prayer – Vietnam and Here’s to our Heroes – present day.  Our unique cherry frames are carved with a personal prayer or verse capturing the heart and message of each work of art.  A small folded flag is incorporated into the corner of the frame to remind us of those who have given their lives that our nation might live.
Gifts of Freedom, A Brother’s Prayer and Here’s to our Heroes unifies the hearts of our hunters and our veterans.  We are honored by their service.  May we be forever grateful!

Meet the Artist

Jack in his studio

Imagine...
...the first snow that falls early in October crystallizing the leaves
  and landscapes
...the awesome call of a hundred geese as their V formation
  streaks across the sky
...the summer sunset that illuminates the countryside
...the thunderous rush of the water as it tumbles and falls over a
  cliff fifty feet high
...the mist that settles in the valleys on cool nights
...the sight of the first robin or a nesting pair of blue birds

"These are my daily inspirations as I look out of my studio window. I am a painter by profession. I carry my canvases and oil paints out into all types of weather in search of a scene I can capture. My personal quest is to portray the beauty of the outdoors in my works and share these scenes with others. God has truly blessed me with a job I love. My success is through His handiwork. He provides me with an amazing outdoor world to paint and enjoy. I give Him all the credit." Jack Paluh

Jack Paluh (pronounced pa-lew) lives in Waterford, Pennsylvania, a small borough in Northwestern PA, but not small by any means in the quiet beauty that surrounds him. You may come across him on some back road, painting small study pieces. He was a "doodler" from the time he could hold a pencil. His only formal art educaiton was from a local high school, under the guiding hands of local artists and teachers who encouraged him to

pursue his dream of becoming an artist.

"I wasn't the best student but I think I loved it the most", states Paluh.
In 2008, Jack celebrates his twenty-seventh year of painting.

Jack recognizes that his highest honor is meeting and talking with people who are interested in his artwork.Paluh is an avid bowhunter and naturalist. He is never too busy to swap stories or discuss the newest techniques in hunting. "I truly enjoy my time outdoors, as it is my time to pray, dream and compose". Whether it's painting, hunting, photography or just observing, Jack's natural sense of humor is ever present as well as his strong faith in God.
