One of Jack Paluh’s favorite places to paint is the ocean. The water is an ever changing kaleidoscope of colors, depending on the time of year, the strength of the wind, and the angle of the sun. Paluh wanted to capture the last hour of light, when the beach activity has quieted down. This is always one of the most calming and beautiful times to walk and paint by the sea.
